- 120 volts
- T4 diameter
- 6000 hr life
- Caution-Dimensions: please note these dimensions. A few customers have found that our xenon line voltage bipin light bulbs are larger than the ones they intended to replace. Unlike a halogen light bulb the glass envelope of a xenon light bulb may be touched with bare hands (while the lamp is cool) without causing the lamp to fail prematurely.

Easy to install
very good replacement for fluorescent lighting
Submitted by Turk | 4.20.11
works well at 2 lighting levels low heat output @ 6in distance (but don't try to touch them when they're on!) color temperature close to frosted incandescent
difficulty in installing new bulb (depending on fixture orientation) bulb life much less than fluorescent bulb (replacement needed about every 6 months when used 12 hours/day) can't buy replacement bulbs at Target or the hardware store
Question from Kara:
Answer from Pegasus:Kara, T4 refers to the diameter of the light bulb. This items is a T4 light bulb. Yes, I think these light bulbs will work in your light. They are a 20W T4 G8 Base with clear glass.
Question from Bruce Butler:
Answer from Pegasus:Bruce, This light bulb is similar but not exact. The color temperature is 2800K.
Question from Scott Tyson:
Answer from Pegasus:Scott, We generally think of 50 light bulbs as a large quantity order. Thanks
Question from Kathy:
Answer from Pegasus:Kathy, These emit warm white light similar to that of a halogen light bulb. The term cool white is usually used to describe a color temperature of about 4100K, which is more typically found in fluorescent light bulbs.
Question from Darlisa Schaerer:
Answer from Pegasus:Because G4 lamps and G8 lamps use a dedicated socket specific to the lamp base they cannot be interchanged. Separate parts such as sockets, etc. are not available. Therefore the only option to change to a 12-volt system is to use 12-volt fixtures and a 12-volt power supply (Transformer).
