You don't need to use gloves when installing the bulb.
Question from Cheri:
Answer from Pegasus:Cheri, This clear light bulb emits 72 lumens of light.
Question from James Nicolari:
Answer from Pegasus:James, Yes, you can use these as a substitute. I would just make sure the maximum overall lengths match or are close because that will affect whether they properly fit in the puck lights. Generally speaking, xenon light bulbs are cooler and last longer. They are still a form of an incandescent light bulb, so I would not say they are more energy efficient.
Question from Violet:
Answer from Pegasus:Violet, I am assuming you have our xenon line voltage puck lights. Check out the installation instructions for the puck light. Specifically page 2, under To Replace Bulb. If you are still having issues please call our customer service and we will be glad to help. http://site.pegasuslighting.com/pdfs/xenon-lighting/xenon-line-voltage-puck-lights-install-instructions.pdf
Question from Bill:
Answer from Pegasus:Bill, This lamp is a bit longer than the one designed for your under cabinet lights. Here is the compatible replacement light bulb: http://www.pegasuslighting.com/xenon-line-voltage-light-bulbs-20w.html
Question from Paula:
Answer from Pegasus:Yes, they are dimmable
Question from Chris:
Answer from Pegasus:No, it does not replace a 50W halogen. A 20W xenon bulb is roughly equivalent to a 20W halogen. Thank you.
