Springs used to secure the trim are of a very high quality!
Question from Rick Wilson:
Answer from Pegasus:Rick, This trim uses V torsion springs to attach to a Nora Lighting recessed housing. The glass opal removes from the trim by hand for accessing the socket for replacing the light bulb. In order to use above a shower, you need to use a compatible Nora Lighting brand housing. Otherwise, it will not prevent moisture from entering the housing. I'm afraid I do not understand exactly what you are asking. The trim and compatible housings use a standard shaped A19 light bulb. If the LED bulb you are wanting to use does not conform to the standard length and width of an A19 bulb, then I do not think it would fit. A standard A19 measures 2-3/8in wide and 4-3/8in long. Please feel free to call us if you'd like to discuss your issue further. Thanks!
Question from Marilyn:
Answer from Pegasus:The glass piece is 4-3/4 inches in diameter at the smallest; 5-3/8in including the lip to hold it in place. The depth is 1-1/4 inches.
Question from tom:
Answer from Pegasus:Tom, No, we do not carry the gaskets.
Question from Joe Lane:
