Question from Dan:

The top of the can will only be 1/2'' from the roof (plywood) will this be OK?

Answer from Pegasus:

Dan, as far as the product is concerned, yes, that's enough distance. The manufacturer recommends a 1/2in clearance from any building components. I would suggest consulting with an electrician to make sure you are abiding by the electrical code and/or any building codes in your area.

Question from Weston Rogers:

I plan to use the trim PNT-5001-B. I am going to use a PAR30 bulb. What is the length of bulb needed? Thank you for your response to this question You need to use a PAR30 short neck light bulb. Generally they measure 3-5/8in long. I cannot find the lamp you recommend. Let me be more specific. This must be a CFL with 6500K. The only two lamps I found on the internet which meet this description are below. The problem is in both cases the length of the lamp is 4.7 and 4.9. This is longer than the 3 5/8 you stated. Where can I find a PAR30 CFL 6500K lamp with 3 5/8 length? http://store.bulbstock.com/31235.html http://www.dallaslightbulb.com/tcp-pf3016-6500k-pr-2685.html

Answer from Pegasus:

Long neck PAR30 lamps will fit but they will stick down more than the PAR30 short necks. It's more of an aesthetic choice as the bulb will be more visible. I'm sorry but I do not know where you can find a 6500K short neck CFL PAR30. We do not carry that type of bulb. These trims are generally used with halogen light bulbs.
