LED Art/Picture lights
Submitted by Peter Frost | 6.02.16
I don't think anything was misrepresented, but it would have helped if perhaps they might have advised what size pics they are designed to highlight... maybe I can find some use for them.
I do like Pegasus... just missed on this light and application.
As to recommending to a friend.... for small pictures/art Yes......
For larger pictures/art...No

Not bronze but still a great light
Submitted by Dave | 7.27.15
The color is more of a distressed gold rather than a bronze, but it works just the same.

Self contained (battery operated) Easy mounting.
Dimmer option is hard to regulate. A two or three step function would work better, High, (Med), Low, Off. Inconsistent between units.

So far none - just got it so will see if any develop.
Question from Darrin:
Answer from Pegasus:It is 13-1/8 inches long by approximately 1 inch in diameter. The mounting plate is: 9 inches x 1-1/4 inches.
Question from Roger:
Answer from Pegasus:Yes, multiple lights can be controlled by a single remote as long as they are in range.
Question from Deb:
Answer from Pegasus:Yes, I think two would be sufficient and yes they will operate off the same remote.
Question from Rick:
Answer from Pegasus:Rick, this fixture does not have light bulbs. It has built in LEDs. Yes, it can be used for glass covered artwork. You can adjust the light fixture head if any glare occurs.
Question from Catherine:
Answer from Pegasus:Catherine, click the arrow on the right hand side of the image thumbnails to see more images, including the bronze fixture.
Question from j ross:
Answer from Pegasus:It attaches to the wall using the mounting bracket and screws.
Question from Karen L Steen:
Answer from Pegasus:If you have an especially wide picture, then yes, I would suggest using two.
Question from Michael:
Answer from Pegasus:Michael, the mounting plate is attached to the wall using screws. It's best to attach the plate to the wall above the artwork, otherwise the neck may be pinned against the frame.
Question from Helen:
Answer from Pegasus:Helen, I would not recommend this battery operated light for artwork that large.
Question from Shelley:
Answer from Pegasus:Shelley, my advice would be to try rechargeable batteries. They will not last as many hours but you will not have to keep buying batteries. Battery operated products are truly not ideal for being on all day because it becomes rather expensive to power them.
Question from Marty:
Answer from Pegasus:It mounts using the included screw bracket. You attach it to the wall.
Question from Make:
Answer from Pegasus:It includes mounting screws and a bracket for securing it to a wall. Mounting onto brick will be a challenge since you would need to drill holes into the brick and use different types of screws/anchors designed for brick to secure it.
Question from Patty Phelps:
Answer from Pegasus:It weights approximately 1 lb.
Question from Rick Sims:
Answer from Pegasus:Rick,The measurement from the bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the arc is 5-1/2" for the LED Battery Operated Picture Light with Remote Control.
Question from Mikulas:
Answer from Pegasus:This light uses AA batteries.
Question from Linda Moore:
Answer from Pegasus:The light can be attached to the frame with the mounting bracket.
Question from Diane Jenkins:
Answer from Pegasus:This light is turned on/off with the remote control.
Question from Kathleen Davis:
Answer from Pegasus:The LPL601 does not have a light bulb. It has LED Modules inside the unit. These are not replaceable.
Question from Judy:
Answer from Pegasus:If layed flat the light protrudes 1 inch. If the arm is swung out it protrudes 5 inches.
Question from kurt:
Answer from Pegasus:You will want to mount the light where it will project the best light for the picture without having the light head in the view of the picture. We recommend the light fixture be at least 1/2 the size of the picture, so for your 18 inch fixture it would be sufficient.
Question from Colin Berry:
Answer from Pegasus:The fixture will light approximately 18 inches vertically. Therefore it will not provide a sufficient amount of light for the lower section of the canvas.
Question from Cheryl:
Answer from Pegasus:We generally suggest that a picture light measure at least have the width of the area being illuminated.
Question from Clyde Eldridge:
Answer from Pegasus:We generally recommend that a picture light be at least 1/2 the width of the picture.
Question from Mike Brusko:
Answer from Pegasus:The light slides upward from the mounting bracket. The battery compartment can then be accessed.
Question from gloria:
Answer from Pegasus:The LED's are not replaceable in this picture light.
Question from Ash Sheikh:
Answer from Pegasus:This light could be used to illuminate a dartboard.
Question from Janie Robles:
Answer from Pegasus:I'm sorry - the remotes are not available separately. They are packaged with each picture light.
