Question from Candice Hall:

Hello, I am looking for a light that is most/only reliable on solar power. I have not seen any comments mentioning its function / success in the sun. I'm planning on using these in ceramic/no dirt art pots....and I just need to make sure they do not need to have heat accessibiity in the base / pole part. Thank you.

Answer from Pegasus:

Candice, these operate 100% on solar rays from the sun striking the top of the light fixture. They do not need to have heat accessibility in the base.
