This miniature MR11 low voltage recessed lighting fixture has an adjustable gimbal ring and its own low-profile housing. Ideal for non-insulated ceilings, shelving, cabinets, and displays.

Required Accessories Sold Separately

  • One 12-volt electronic transformer is required for powering the recessed light. Be sure to select a transformer with a wattage rating equal to or slightly greater than the total wattage being powered.
  • Calculating Total Wattage: to determine the transformer you need, calculate the total wattage rating of your installation by multiplying the number of lights you intend to power by the wattage of the light bulb you intend to use. For example, for 3 lights using 20W MR11 light bulbs, you would need to select a transformer rated for at least 60 watts (3 Recessed Lights x 20W/Recessed Light = 60W).
  • MR11 Light Bulb: uses a 12-volt MR11 low voltage halogen light bulb with maximum of 20 watts.

Optional Accessories Sold Separately

  • Multi-Tap Connectors: connect multiple light fixtures to one electronic transformer.

The miniature can light was exactly what I was searching for to light a small art niche. It was easy for my electrician to install and its compact size fit in a small niche. I also purchased the dimmer which I would also recommend. The gimbal feature allows to change the direction of the beam and the variation of available bulbs allows any object or piece of art to be properly lit.

Only fixture that into 3.5-inch space!!!

Submitted by |

Only fixture that I've found that correctly fits into a 3.5 inch space. So far, I'm thrilled. Installed the first one today. All seems well. Bought a trial pair to test. Ordering 9 more tonight. Seems to be well constructed. Gimbal adjusts as expected. Fits nicely against soffit. Nearly flush.

Fits 3.5in depth.

2 5/16 hole. Must use 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 hole saw.
