Description
Lutron Maestro dimmers are designer light controls with personalized programming options. Preset your desired dimming level, activate a delayed fade-to-off feature that gives you 10-60 seconds to leave the room, or simply adjust the lights manually using an easy-to-operate rocker switch. A soft glow LED feature will also enable you to find the dimmer in a dark room. This model controls low voltage xenon or low voltage halogen lighting systems that use magnetic transformers (12 or 24 volts).

Question from Robert Denenberg:

Can Lutron dimmer mack-153mr-wh work to dim low voltage lighting ?

Answer from Pegasus:

Robert, I'm sorry - I'm unfamiliar with that part number. If it's a Lutron dimmer designed for low voltage dimming, it will appear on the packaging.

Question from Linda:

Is this a 3 way switch? I need a switch that is low voltage and can be turned on at two different places.

Answer from Pegasus:

Linda, the Maestro dimmer is considered a multi-location dimmer, meaning it can be installed in up to 10 locations. So yes, it can be used as a 3-way switch. To install it in two locations, use one of these Maestro magnetic low voltage dimmers in one location and then use the companion dimmer MA-R (see Accessories) in the other location. The installation instructions has directions for wiring.
