Question from Ed Trauth:

I am looking to install these lights on the stair riser. The stairs will be tiled and I'm seeking a trim less light so the tile can be cut to the light opening. Any concerns with my plan (i.e., ability to service after installation if tile is installed in this manner)?

Answer from Pegasus:

It's much more difficult to remove/replace tile than spackling paste if you do have to service one of the lights, so yes, I would be concerned about that or at least be prepared for the possibility by saving extra tile.
