LED Headlight Review

Submitted by | Ava |

I was impressed with this unit from its advertisement on the site.
It was just as shown. I like the compact feature of it. It does give "decent" light, but not as much as I expected.
I actually purchased 3 of these, 2 are for gifts and were much appreciated and liked.

Pros:
Compact, easily adjustable, long lasting light.

Cons:
Not as bright as I expected

Work Well

All three work well. I haven't used them but putting it together was easy and they all work. So far, so good. Only experience is putting it together and all worked well.

Great for Nurses

Submitted by |

As a nurse seeing patients in their home, I often have to insert a foley catheter, which is sometimes difficult to do because of the lighting. By using this head light, I always have the light shining where I need it. I have bought several and given them to other nurses.

Pros:
Compact enough to fit into a nursing bad

Lights did not work and I threw my receipt away but they still sent replacements that worked. Very good company to deal with.

LED Battery Operated Head Work Lamp

Submitted by |

Chinese made headlamp doesn't work, even after replacing the batteries twice. I suggest you discontinue this product or test the system before shipping it to customers.

Pros:
Nothing

Cons:
see above

From Pegasus:

Unfortunately this customer received a defective light. A replacement light was shipped to this customer.

Great Work Light

Submitted by |

It's nice to be able to shine light directly where you need it rather then trying to also hold a flash light or position a work light while trying not to block it.

Pros:
Portable. Very bight light

Cons:
Minor issue. Due to my 'melon' sized head, the head band is a bit too tight.

LED Battery Operated Head Work Light

Works as expected. Two small problems: Plastic fixtures were balky enough that I was hesitant to force them, as I have had poor experiences with plastic over metal with too much force. No directions beyond the open/close type markers on the light itself. Some people like pictographs. Your online correspondent missed out one factor--the device did have all lights and batteries included.

Question from Johnye:

How do you put the battery in the head light and what size battery?

Answer from Pegasus:

Check out our zoom images for a clear picture of how to replace the batteries. The silver knob on the side of the lamp twists off for access to the battery compartment. It takes 3 AAA batteries.

Question from Susan:

What is the light output?

Answer from Pegasus:

Susan, The light output is 42 lumens.
