Product works as described. Only complaint is the fact that we needed to spend an extra $60 to use the lights.

Ask a Question

Question from K:

Does the 60 watt transformer have a heat build up? Can it be located in an enclosed area?

Answer from Pegasus:

Yes, like all transformers this one generates heat. I would strongly recommend consulting an electrician familiar with local electric codes regarding the proper placement of the transformer in your installation. Generally transformers and the splices are stored in junction boxes in a readily accessible place.

Question from Chris:

How does this mount? Screwed to the underside of the cabinet?

Answer from Pegasus:

This unit mounts using screws placed inside the cover through the back.

Question from Mary:

Would this transformer handle 3 - LS-LED32 under cabinet lights and 2 - 24V LED Button lights (HR-LED87)? If so, how would they be wired to the transformer?

Answer from Pegasus:

No, you cannot connect the puck lights and the strip lights to this transformer. This transformer is for use with the strip lights only (LS-LED-32)

Question from Carl Karcher:

Does this have knock outs to attach a type NM (romex) connector? I have type NM coming out of the wall under the cabinets.

Answer from Pegasus:

Carl, Yes, it does. It's hard to see in the picture because of the white finish but there are knockouts on the end and two on the side.

Question from Anita:

Can the 6ft cord be shortened to the length needed, so that there's not a lot of extra cord?

Answer from Pegasus:

Anita, The only issue is that this would void the warranty and likely the safety label.
