Description
This Energy Star qualified R40 CFL lowers utility bills and reduces greenhouse gas emissions for a cleaner environment. It replaces 120-watt incandescent R40 light bulbs in a variety of applications, such as recessed and track lighting. It has a 2700K color temperature that is similar to incandescent light and a long 8,000-hour life, so you won't replace light bulbs very often.
  • The light output for this bulb is 1,300 initial lumens; average of 1,175 lumens throughout the rated life of lamp.

I recently replaced eight of these in my basement, where large numbers of similar bulbs have died early deaths before while the circuits were controlled by dimmers (with which CFL bulbs do not work.) Five weeks in, everything is working so we'll see how long they last.
