Life Expectancy not Good

Submitted by |

One of these was used to replace a similar bulb that lasted about two years. My problem has been that these lamps last as long as the warranty, but then they give up the ghost far earlier than their expected life. I have other CFLs from other manufacturers that have been in use for 10 years or more with about the same hours of annual use as these TCP products. The only reason I continue to buy this brand is that they fit my needs as far as physical appearance goes.

Pros:
Appearance and power consumption

Cons:
Short life
