Ask a Question

Question from John P:

What is the wattage of the AC adapter?

Answer from Pegasus:

It's 6 watts.

Question from Bette:

What would the equivalent watt be if these were not LED like the same as 40 watts each bulb? How long is the cord that you would plug into the wall? I would not use batteries, so it has to be a long cord as this would sit on top of a china hutch that has an outlet on the wall in back.

Answer from Pegasus:

1. It emits 150 lumens of light. I would estimate this to be about the lumen output of a standard 20W incandescent bulb. 2. The power cord is 6ft.

Question from William:

If I buy more like 4 or 5 lights can I use only one remote for all 5 or have to use the remote that can with each light?

Answer from Pegasus:

Multiple fixtures can be controlled by a single remote as long as they are all in the range. Yes, you can control 5 fixtures with a single remote.

Question from Marlene Craik:

Do you have any ideas how long the batteries will last in this light?

Answer from Pegasus:

According to the manufacturer, if you use high quality alkaline batteries they have an expected life of about 40 hours.

Question from Deb:

Can you dim these lights with the remote?

Answer from Pegasus:

With the remotes, the dimming can be controlled by pressing and holding the button. The light will then start to dim.

Question from Carl:

Can the AC adapter be used to charge rechargeable batteries or is it an either AC or battery-only choice?

Answer from Pegasus:

No it would not be able to recharge batteries. You would need to use the AC adapter or batteries.

Question from Davis Mangold:

If the light is using the rechargeable batteries and the batteries run out, can you charge the batteries by connecting the cord? Is there an indicator on how charged the batteries are (full or empty)? If the cord is plugged in, is it using the AC power or the battery?

Answer from Pegasus:

Since rechargeable batteries drain very quickly, it is recommended to use standard AAA batteries. Using the AC Adapter does not charge batteries. It merely powers the light.

Question from Robby:

Are the batteries recharged when plugged into a power source

Answer from Pegasus:

No the AC plug in adapter does not charge the batteries.
