Question from Linda:
Answer from Pegasus:If it's set to the motion sensor mode, it will stay on until motion is no longer detected. If not in motion sensor mode, then it's a manual on/off product so once on it will stay on until you turn it off.
Question from Seth:
Answer from Pegasus:This product has 2 modes.Motion sensor mode - the motion sensor turns the light on to the High light output setting. It does not turn the light on to the brightness setting of your choice.Manual mode - it can be set to high brightness, low brightness, or off.
Question from Gary:
Answer from Pegasus:The motion sensor does not require that it be dark in order to turn on the light.
Question from Art Sagy:
Answer from Pegasus:Art, our battery operated product manufacturers do not publish Lux measurements. Lux is dependent on area, which is subjective to where it's installed. Instead they provide lumen output for comparing brightness. Lumen output is independent of area. Most battery operated under cabinet lights have some sort of motion sensor, auto off feature, or remote control. The reason being that you would constantly be replacing batteries without these type of features that use the light only when it's needed. The only one we have that does not have those features is this product. It's not our brightest, though. - http://www.pegasuslighting.com/battery-operated-under-cabinet-lighting/led-battery-operated-slim-under-cabinet-lights-with-hilooff-push-button.html This is our brightest light - http://www.pegasuslighting.com/battery-operated-under-cabinet-lighting/led-battery-operated-ultra-bright-track-light-with-remote-control.html
