Question from Al:

I'm confused if this is all I need to hardwire to my power source to power the puck lights. Is no transformer needed if I purchase this? Also, will a standard C-L dimmer switch purchased at a home improvement store be compatible with this device? Thanks for your help!

Answer from Pegasus:

To hardwire the puck lights to power you will need this LED driver. It serves as the transformer in the system. To dim it, you will need to use the pulse width modulation dimmer, which is listed in the Accessories. C-L dimmers are not compatible with this driver.

Question from Arie:

Can I put nine puck lights on this driver and dim them with a dimmer?

Answer from Pegasus:

Arie, It depends on what type of driver/dimmer your puck lights require. Also note that this driver is only dimmable with the particular dimmer listed on the Accessories. Our LED Low Wattage Puck Lights are compatible with this driver - http://www.pegasuslighting.com/led-puck-lights-low-wattage.html 9 of these puck lights can certainly be powered by a single driver.

Question from Virginia:

We have 12 gauge running from the box to our cabinets. Can we hook in the 12 gauge wire to the Driver? Also, I need about a 160 Inch run from the lights to our current driver location. Can I get an extension to make this run?

Answer from Pegasus:

Virginia, Yes you can hook 12 gauge wire to the driver. We do not have an extension cable or wire for this driver.

Question from Harry:

1. I want to install the driver in a junction box. Any recommendations? 2. I want to connect two dimmers to the driver (parallel). Any issues with that?

Answer from Pegasus:

Harry, Make sure you are following your local electrical code requirements while securing in the junction box. Use the appropriate wire nuts for securing the electrical connections. The manufacturer assures me that two dimmers can work while connected to a single driver.
