LIGHT BULBS

• Xenon Light Bulb(s) Included: 18 watt, 12-volt, T5, Xenon Wedge Base Lamp(s) are supplied with each fixture (T5 means that the lamp is 5/8in in diameter).
• Wattage of Light Bulb: 18 watts
• Excellent Color Rendering: Color Rendering Index (CRI) is 100 for all xenon light bulbs [Note: a value of 100 is considered to be the best.]
• Long Lamp Life: rated life is 10,000 hours on average. The typical halogen lamp is generally rated at about 2,000 hours.
• Low Operating Temperature: gives off less heat than a comparable halogen light bulb
• Easy Lamp Handling: unlike a halogen light bulb, the glass envelope of a xenon light bulb may be touched with bare hands (while the lamp is cool, of course) without causing the lamp to fail prematurely
• Easy Relamping: hinged glass access door with captive thumb screw allows for easy tool-free relamping
• Spare Light Bulbs: spare replacement xenon light bulbs are recommended and can be ordered on the Accessories tab

ELECTRICAL FEATURES

• Transformer Included: an integral 12-volt electronic transformer is included
• Hi/Lo/Off Switch Included: a pre-installed hi/lo/off rocker switch provides 2 levels of lighting brightness
• Switching: when these xenon under cabinet task lights are linked together, an individual fixture may be adjusted by the hi/lo/off fixture switch without affecting the other fixtures. Additionally, if multiple fixtures are hardwired to power, then they may be controlled by a single wall switch as long as the three position switch on each fixture is left in the “hi” or “lo” position.
• Linkable: there are 3 ways to connect (link) these Xenon Low Voltage Emily Under Cabinet Task Lights together electrically.
  1) End-to-End - They can be connected end-to-end directly to each other using direct connectors, which can be purchased on the Accessories tab.
  2) Flexible Connectors - They can be linked together across a short distance using Flexible Connectors. Flexible connectors are available in three different lengths (12in, 18in, and 24in) and can be purchased on the Accessories tab.
  3) ROMEX Wire - They can be connected using the appropriate household ROMEX® wire, ROMEX® connectors, and the knockouts for each task light. Always check local codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) before installing any light fixtures.
• Dimmable: if these Xenon Low Voltage Under Cabinet Task Lights are hardwired to power, they are fully dimmable using a dimmer that has been designed to control an electronic low voltage transformer (can be ordered on the Accessories tab). If these fixtures receive power by being plugged into an electrical receptacle, they are fully dimmable if the cord & plug set is plugged into the top socket of a dual wall receptacle, for which only the top socket is controlled by a dimmer. This will leave the bottom socket available with full power for other electrical appliances.
