Very nice, Bright, 4 Fixture Light
November 15, 2014
Great little light. Very bright. I used this for a large niche and there was a problem with the light pattern showing a bright purplish center spot. I overcame this easily by adding a simple modification. I cut out disks from a plastic milk jug, attached to the lights with tape, and made a very effective diffuser that eliminated the bright spots and we have 4 nice, warm flood lights. The way this light sits in our niche the plastic diffusers face away from the room and cannot be seen. With some care on cutting out and a little glue instead of tape, this fixture could look very nice and the plastic milk jug disks would not even be seen if you were to position this light where the face could be seen. As the picture shows there is a thin white ~1/8 in rim around the light faces. Cutting your disks to fit and using glue would make the modification hard to see.
Overall the light is great and being able to position the 4 lights separately is a nice feature. The remote control is line of sight and you do have to have the switch facing the room. Need a black and/or light brown version to help it "disappear".
4 separate lights to position where needed.
Very bright for the applications it is intended for.
Optional AC power.
This comes with the hardware needed to attach multiple ways - and the screw mount bracket is easy to use.
Cons:Only comes in white so far.

Every feature in one convenient package

I needed light for a medium sized walk in closet (8 ft long). The stick up lights in chain stores were worthless. This strip is attractive, light weight, easy to install, and casts much more light than you'd expect. The lights are multidirectional and the remote comes with a wall mount. I like more light so I installed 2 strips. An electrician was going to cost $700. This was $90 and 15 minutes. Great product. Thank you!
Pros:Easy to install
Give you exactly what the package says
Easy to follow instructions
Tons of features for a very reasonable price
Just wasn't bright enough.

I bought this item in the hopes of having a battery operated ceiling light for my bedroom. Even with focusing each light in different directions, there wasn't enough light for even half the room...and it's a regular sized room. This is definitely more of a closet light.
4 different lights for different orientations.
Not big enough for a normal sized room.

I'm looking for a ceiling mounted battery operated light fixture to illuminate a wall hung painting. I plan to position the fixture approximately 24" in front of the painting and my ceiling height is 8 feet (the top of the painting is 14" below the ceiling). Will this fixture work well for this application? I don't want 4 bright spots on the painting.

I would not recommend this fixture for use on a ceiling to illuminate a painting. It is best suited for task/accent lighting under or in cabinets, closets, or work spaces.
Instead, I would recommend a battery operated picture light.

Answer:The application you are describing is perfect fit for you painting. I am using this product for an exactly identical application.
The bright spot can be managed by overlapping the light high spots over each other. Or moving it to the periphery of painting. Was not a problem for me. Good luck.

Answer:As these lights come stock out of the box I do not think this particular fixture would suit your needs. The lights are very nice and have a flood pattern, but there is a bright spot in the middle of the light pattern that is a bright purplish spot. I put this light in a large niche we have are there were bright spots at the back and on the decoration we have in the middle that was... well, purplish.
BUT!!!! I added a simple modification by cutting out disks from a plastic milk jug, attaching to the lights with tape, and made a very effective diffuser that eliminated the bright spots and we have a nice, warm flood light. The way this light sits in the niche the plastic diffusers face away from the room and cannot be seen. With some care on cutting out and a little glue instead of tape, this fixture could look very nice and the plastic milk jug disks would not even be seen. As the picture shows there is a thin white ~1/8 in rim around the light faces. Cutting your disks to fit and using glue would make the modification hard to see.
Overall the light is great and being able to position the 4 lights separately is a nice feature.

What is the battery life? I have got some under counter lights now that eat batteries in a couple of days. Thanks
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on September 17, 2014
Answer:They have an expected battery life of 40 hours on average when using high quality alkaline batteries.

I bought one unit to try. I liked it.
I want to order more but will I need to use the remotes for each one or will one control all the fixtures?
I am looking to get a total of 4 and want to know
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on May 19, 2015
Answer:You will be able to use a single remote to control all 4 fixtures. Thanks!
