Do you think this light would be OK mounted approximately 4 ft. above kitchen sink?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on August 20, 2014
Answer:Fred, since it's so close to the kitchen sink, I would consider that a damp location and this product is not designed for that.

Will this light work well for illuminating a painting? I plan to locate the fixture on the ceiling, approximately 16" in front of the painting and 14" above it.
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on November 11, 2014
I wouldn't recommend it for that application. The product is best used as a task/accent light under or inside cabinets or in closets/niche spaces.
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on November 13, 2014
Answer:Dennis, it sounds like some of our customers have had success using this item to illuminate a picture. I am hesitant to recommend it for use so far from your painting and also I worried about the "hot spots" because of the multiple track heads. You may have to place it closer to get the desired effect. I hope this helps!

Answer:That's exactly how I have used mine! It worked beautifully!

Will a single remote operate 5 tracks if they are all within the 15 feet?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on December 2, 2014
Answer:No - the limit is 4 fixtures per remote.
By Russ from Illinois on December 5, 2014
Answer:One remote will work on all. You likely have to aim the remote depending on positioning.

About how far can these lights "throw" light from the bulb. Was wondering if they could shine light on something about 6 feet below where they are mounted.
By Lua from Indianapolis on October 6, 2014
Answer:No, they're probably better suited for a counter-top or something less than 3 feet. It's a bright LED light, but doesn't cast very far.

Is there an on/off switch on the unit or do you have to use the remote? Is there a wall mountable cradle for the remote?
By Ed from Hanson, MA on March 8, 2015
Answer:Yes there is a switch on the unit and a cradle to hold the remote.
By Ashley from Marion, Iowa on March 8, 2015
Answer:Yes, there is an on/off switch on the unit and I believe there is adhesive on the remote to hang on the wall (I haven't hung mine up yet so I'm not 100% sure on the remote).
By Linda from Lincoln, NE on March 9, 2015
Answer:I ordered two of these a year ago and yes there is an on off switch on the light unit. Yes there is a wall mountable cradle for the remote.
I have been quite satisfied with the lights. Remote responds well and is easy to use. Switch on the light is also easy to use. Very reasonable quality for the money.

Will this fixture hold up in a bathroom? How does it do in moisture?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on August 4, 2014
Answer:Pam, I would not recommend it for wet or damp locations.
