You list the length as 9 inches. Is this the length of the bulb itself not including the prongs, or the entire length including the prongs? The bulb I'm trying to replace is 9 inches for the bulb itself, and 9.75 inches including the prongs.

The nominal length is 9in. That means the lamp, including the proper allowance for sockets, measures 9in.
The maximum overall length is 8-13/16in. Therefore, This lamp is shorter than the one you are trying to replace.

Answer:That looks like the bulb we purchased. It say this on the bulb (TRS4-6W-W). The exact measurement of ours, including the prongs was 8¾ inches. We knew it was not an exact 9 inches.
