Description of T2 Fluorescent Puck Lights

Two models of a linkable energy-efficient fluorescent T2 puck light that can be recessed or surface mounted. This fluorescent puck light operates 200% cooler than a halogen puck light and is perfect for cabinet lighting, small display cases, exhibits, office and medical work stations, shelf lighting, showcase lighting, under cabinet lighting, merchandising, and bars.

• Surface or Recessed Mount: may be surface mounted or recessed mounted
• Dimensions: when this T2 puck light is surface mounted its dimensions are 3-3/4in diameter x 1in thick; when this T2 puck light is recessed mounted its dimensions are 3-1/4in diameter x 1in thick. To view these dimensions in a diagram click Specifications & Measurements.
• Single Lead Fixtures: use when only one puck light is needed or when an end-of-run puck light is needed for a series of surface mounted puck lights
• Double Lead Fixtures: use when linking surface mounted puck lights (with a single lead puck light at the end of the run) or when all of the puck lights will be recessed mounted (no single lead puck light is required at the end). The double lead puck light is also used for all uplighting (no single lead puck light is needed).
• Very Little Heat: gives off very little heat; operates 200% cooler than halogen fixtures

LIGHT BULB

• T2 Light Modules Included: a 7-watt, 120-volt fluorescent light module (lamp + electronic ballast) with a color temperature of 2700K (warm white) is supplied with each puck light.
• Replacement Modules: You may order replacement fluorescent T2 light modules on the Accessories tab.
• Bright Light: brighter and more efficient than xenon or halogen light bulbs
• Good Lamp Life: rated life is 8000 hours on average
• Easy Lamp Replacement: when the fluorescent T2 light module needs to be replaced a simple half-turn unlocks the light module from the puck light

ELECTRICAL FEATURES

• Linkable: fluorescent T2 puck lights are linkable up to a total of 10 puck lights
• Energy Efficient: each puck light uses only 7 watts of power
• 10-Foot Starter Lead: each fluorescent T2 puck light comes with a 10ft cord & plug set which allows the puck light to be plugged into a standard 120V AC outlet

INSTALLATION

• Hardwire Box with On/Off Switch: 1.5in(H) x 2.5in(W) x 3.5in(L); used when puck lights are to be hardwired directly to power. Easy wiring, just tighten the screws to the main power, no splicing or wire nuts required. Order this option on the Accessories tab.
• Hardwire Adaptor Cord: 6.0in long; must be used for each hardwire box installation. Order this option on the Accessories tab.
• Linking Cords: available in 10in, 24in, 48in, and 72in lengths; in both white & black. Allows easy wiring over and around obstacles without a new power supply. Order this option on the Accessories tab.
• On/Off Rocker Switch: on/off rocker switch is an easy add-on control of a single fluorescent T2 puck light or a linked run of puck lights. Order this option on the Accessories tab.
• Easy to Install: please examine the installation diagrams shown in the Specifications & Measurements tab.
