Questions & Answers

Does the product have an on/off switch so that you can choose to make the deck area dark?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on June 18, 2014

Yes it does have an on/off switch. It is by the battery compartment. You have to rotate the solar cap counter clockwise and remove it to access the switch.
By Sarah from Georgia on June 18, 2014

Yes, in the top easy to take off and turn it off and on. You have to be gentle in taking it off or it will break. I thought I would turn them off at times but the lights are soft and I haven't turn them off yet.

Can this product be mounted to flat board decking? If so can you please show me the bracket that is used?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on April 16, 2014

This product cannot be mounted directly to a flat board. The only way to mount it to a flat decking board would be to first mount a piece of 5-1/2 x 5-1/2in x no more than 1in thick wood to the board and then mount the light to that piece of wood. It does not come with any type of mounting bracket.
By Gary from Anchorage, KY on April 16, 2014

No, it cannot be mounted to flat board decking. The bracket is specifically designed to fit over a post.

The screw holes are on the side so my husband said that this can be done if you put a 5/12 X 5/12 inch filler down for something to screw it to. I hope this was helpful. They look really nice on our fence. We bought 16 of them for each post.
