Description of our 500-Watt 12-Volt Magnetic Low Voltage Transformer, 277-Volt Input, Sebco
This low voltage magnetic transformer, backed by a 10-year warranty, will power your 12-volt halogen or xenon lighting systems when the input voltage is 277 volts.
- Uses: used to power 12-volt halogen or 12-volt xenon lighting systems [Caution: Not recommended for low voltage cable lighting systems that use cables suspended between walls to support and power decorative low voltage light fixtures hanging from the cables.]
- Maximum Load: 400 watts maximum of lighting load. Like most magnetic transformers, these transformers can be used to power up to about 80% of their wattage rating. [Caution: Always attach the load to the transformer before connecting the transformer to power.]
- Input: 277 volts AC, 60 Hz, 2.1 amps
- Output: 12 volts AC, 42 amps
- Installation: the transformer and all of the hardwired electrical splices (connections) can be conveniently stored in the included metal enclosure
- Metal Enclosure: easy opening case with knockouts for hardwiring splices. Powder coated textured paint finish on 1/8in thick steel enclosure.
- Power Cord Available: 8-foot power cord with 3-prong plug and cable connector is available for converting this transformer to a plug-in model. See Accessories tab to purchase.
