Description of our 300-Watt 12 and 24-Volt Outdoor Magnetic Transformer

This 300-watt outdoor transformer will power your 12-volt or 24-volt halogen or xenon lighting systems. When powering 12-volt systems, this is a 2-circuit transformer. When powering 24-volt systems, this is a 1-circuit transformer. All electrical connections can be conveniently stored in the included metal enclosure.

• Uses: used to power 12-volt or 24-volt halogen or 12V or 24V xenon lighting systems [Caution: Not recommended for low voltage cable lighting systems that use cables suspended between walls to support and power decorative low voltage light fixtures hanging from the cables.]
• Outdoor and Indoor Use: this transformer can be used both indoors and outdoors
• Designed for Two 12-Volt Circuits: when this outdoor magnetic transformer is powering 12-volt lighting systems, it is a 2-circuit transformer with a maximum load of 120 watts per circuit
• Designed for One 24-Volt Circuit: when this outdoor magnetic transformer is powering 24-volt lighting systems, it is a 1-circuit transformer with a maximum load of 240 watts
• Maximum Load: 240 watts maximum of lighting load for 24-volt systems and 120 watts maximum of lighting load per circuit for 12-volt systems. Like most magnetic transformers, these transformers should be used to power about 80% of their wattage rating. [Caution: Always attach the load to the transformer before connecting the transformer to power.]
