Our selection of PAR16 light bulbs include both halogen and LED as well as PAR16 minis, which have shorter necks than a regular PAR16. These lamps are sixteen eighths (16/8), or two, inches in diameter. A traditional halogen PAR-type lamp has a parabolic aluminized reflector inside the glass envelope to direct the light out of the lamp and control beam spread. LED PAR16 lamps do not use a reflective coating instead using optics and apertures to control beam spread.
