We are pleased to offer a large selection of both halogen and newer LED MR16 light bulbs. A traditional halogen MR lamp has a multifaceted reflector on the inside of the lamp. This reflector is used to direct the light out of the lamp and to generate the appropriate beam spread. LED MR16s do not use reflective material but instead optics and apertures to direct light. However, they are designed to retrofit light fixtures that currently use MR16 halogen lamps to reduce overall energy usage.
