Will this product's housing fit easily into a modular brick wall?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on December 16, 2013
Yes, this product is specifically designed for that type of application.

Answer:Yes, I think so. I measured the bricks on my house and the housing is the same size as my bricks - 8.5 inches long X 3.5 inch tall.
My lights are encased in cement steps. These are amazing lights. Wish I had more places to put them. Highly recommend this product.

If I were to put these INSIDE my house in the stairs, how bright are they? Would I need one every step (there are 14), every other, every third?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on January 5, 2014
Answer:Every third or fourth step should be sufficient.

Answer:They actually provide good light - and they look great doing it. I personally think one on each step would be way too much light. Clearly, a lot depends on where and why you are installing them. Simple accent lighting for visual interest you would probably be fine with on every 3rd or 4th step. They would also look very nice in the wall along side the steps in this case too. If this is a safety issue in a dark area I think every other step would be fine.
The light cover also acts as a light diffuser. You could leave this light diffuser off if you wanted more light with few fixtures (the light itself is also enclosed and the outside lenses is not necessary unless you need it to be water proof) or you could also add a more opaque lenses to further reduce light output if you had too much light.
In any case, these are great lights and I love mine.
