Good But One Went Bad after 1.5 years
November 17, 2014
Really liked the product but after about 1.5 years lost one of them. Tried all sorts of things to bring back to life. Live in VA. Could be the cold winter/snow we had last year. Not sure if I will replace. I think this product should have lasted longer.

Nice addition
January 25, 2014
These lights are a nice addition to my landscape lighting. They turn on when I pull into the driveway just as promised. I just wish they had a wider range of timer settings.

Not working yet
October 25, 2013
We would love to put this unassembled light together but the instructions and drawings are so tiny and blurred we cannot read them. So, maybe the lights work fine but even with enlarging the instructions on a copier and using a magnifying glass we are unable to read them. They will be headed back soon.

Great little path lights
September 8, 2013
These path lights were easy to set up. They have a good range of motion detection and they look good. My only critiques are that they could be made of a heavier plastic, and it would be really helpful if the motion detector could be aimed independently of the light source.

Batteries last amazingly long (update)
November 25, 2011
Have had 4 of these for 10 months. Have only had to replace original 3 C batteries on one of them. Two are still going strong. Unfortunately the motion sensor seems to have broken on the fourth (never turns off) -- so that is out of commission. These are on front stairway so they get a lot of work (on 20 second cycle). I just ordered four more.
Merchant Response:
Since this product carries a one-year warranty we will ship this customer a replacement path light kit.
Work well -- good amount of light for our dark stairs. Long battery life
One of the four has malfunctioned after about 8 months.

Bright and sensitive
January 12, 2011
I'm very impressed with the product so far. Very bright light that spreads low about 120 degrees. The sensitivity of the motion detector seems just about right (i.e., it turns on when you approach at about the "right" distance). Three C batteries cost a bit, so I am hoping that they actually last one month. I'm thinking of buying some more!
Good motion sensitivity very bright seems to be built well
Limited choice of "on" times (20 seconds or 5 minutes). Wish there were 1-2 minutes.

Questions & Answers
By Krista Potter from Lincoln, Nebraska on October 28, 2013
Can you control multiple sets from a single remote control?

By Brett from Sussex County, NJ on October 29, 2013

Yes, as there is a way to sync the remote codes in each f the lights. It is a 2 or 3 number code which you can make the same among all of the lights.

By JohnM from Reston, VA on June 4, 2014
I need to raise this light up more to accommodate a 4 foot setback from the side of the driveway. Is there any extension shaft? If not, what is the inside diameter of the supplied shaft?
By Robin from Pegasus Lighting on June 4, 2014

We do not offer an extension shaft. The inside diameter of the stake supplied is 15/16 inches.

By Eric from Amagansett, NY on November 10, 2013
Can you turn off or deactivate the light easily? And can your turn off lights with remote?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on November 11, 2013

Yes, there's an Off button on the remote.

By JT from Pittsburgh, PA on February 14, 2013
Hi - What kind of battery life can we expect and is it difficult/costly to replace the battery?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on February 15, 2013

Battery life will depend on a number of factors, including the quality of the batteries and how often the light is used.

The manufacturer estimates battery life of about 1-year when high quality alkaline batteries are used.

Batteries are replaced by removing the back panel, which is secured by screws.

Can you leave these ON for extended periods of time if say you are having a party and you want the driveway lit for five hours?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on October 29, 2012

The lights would stay on full brightness if they continued to detect motion. After not detecting motion, the path lights return to a 'low glow' mode while it's still dark.
By Kent from North Carolina on October 29, 2012

No, they are motion activated. You can adjust how long they stay on once activated, but they will turn off after a few minutes at the most.
