A little disappointed
November 9, 2013
I have used nightlights throughout the home to make it simple to walk through the home at night without having to turn on any lighting. In the kitchen there are many outlets in the walls just above the counter tops where I plug in many of these night lights.
Pros:The prongs that plug into the outlet are not polarized which allows the light to be orientated so the second outlet is not covered up.
Cons:I expected these nightlights to produce an even glow under the nightlight's lens. Well the expected even glow wasn't very even. The LED produces an illuminated "hot spot" under the light's lens, destroying any "even glow." This "illuminated hot spot" isn't centered, causing a somewhat pie shaped bright area.
This does not render these lights to be unacceptable; it just means my search isn't finished.
