I have an alcove in a 2 by 4 wall that is sheet rocked all around . The top is a header covered with sheet rock. Can these be mounted in a hole drilled in the header or will they over heat?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

These are not intended for use in ceilings, so there's a very good chance heat would be a problem.

I'm looking to install in a ceiling that will have nothing above, except open attic space, I have spray foam insulation on the roof. I want this type to light art work. Also looking for small recessed LED for general room light what do you recommend? I would like as small as possible.

I would not recommend this product because it's not designed for installation in ceilings.
For your art work, I would suggest this product: http://www.pegasuslighting.com/4inch-12v-recessed-lighting-trim-adjustable-elbow.html
For your general lighting, I would recommend these small LED recessed lights: http://www.pegasuslighting.com/3inch-led-recessed-lighting-trim-high-output-open-round-reflector.html

I have a wall bed with a light bridge between 2 side units. The 2 recessed lights have stopped working. Can these be run to the existing dimmer switch?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on March 28, 2014
Answer:Bruce, they are not dimmable, so connecting them to a dimmer switch would not work.
