I'm doing a window display for my major project and I was wondering if these would be able to light a big space such as 2m high and 2m long.

Answer:Yes, depending on how far away the light source is from the object you wish to display. You might want two of these depending on angles, distance, etc. The one we have is very bright on the 'high' setting and we use it to spotlight an object about 15 feet away from the light. We are pleased with the LED Adjustable light.

Answer:I wouldn't recommend this item for that purpose. We ordered it for the same thing - it's not powerful enough. Check this site or your local home improvement store for metal clip-on spotlights. They have cords, but are much more powerful. The light is also warmer and less "blue" than LEDs.

Answer:Probably a lighting expert should "shed light" on your question. But since I recently purchased two of these lights and like the fact that Pegasus tries to pair questions with recent purchasers, I'll offer what I can. Light from the two I installed has to cross a distance of 2 meters to reach the surface I wanted to illuminate. The light from them is simply boosting weak indirect light from overheads but does a good job of that. My guess is that two of these in a 2 M x 2 M display would give soft but useful light, and if you mounted one in each corner you ought to get excellent illumination. And you if you are like me you'll be thinking "at this price what have I got to lose buying a couple?" (I'm actually considering buying two more simply to boost the illumination of those same locations on the opposite walls for which I installed the first ones.)
