It was like a horse with wings

Oh gosh, back many years ago as a complete skeptic I bought one of these light keeper pro gadgets. Every year near Christmas time I had sat in Grandma's gold crushed velvet swivel rocker and pulled hundreds of lights and tested them individually until I finally found the one that wouldn't light, sometimes 4 or even more in the same string. I never believed there was much truth to that little sentence on the boxes that said, "if one goes out the rest stay lit", so it was this or new lights every year, which we could never afford. Sometimes it was so bad for me that Christmas songs' words changed as my brothers and sisters names came out under my breath and reindeer trampled them in bloody white drifted snow, since the horse knew the way to punish them that day who don't share in the chores.
Well THIS LITTLE THING! OMG it changed all that, and the dread of getting out the light. With the LIGHT KEEPER PRO I was thrilled. It became my fun to guess, although there were no prizes, how many clicks it was going to take for the strings to light up. In 2007 we had terrible power surges and almost every light was blown. It wasn't very helpful then, because after way too many pulls of the trigger the set would flash very brightly and go back off because so many of the bulbs had been blown. But under normal circumstances, when the tree was turned on, part of the lights were out, I could pull the light keeper pro in, and click click and on would come the lights, and all I had to do was look for any bulbs still unlit and change them out. IT WAS REAL MAGIC.
Well last year some friends came over with their friends in tow, and I happened to be testing the lights when they all arrived. They were astounded when they witnessed the unlit strings, watched me plug the LIGHT KEEPER PRO onto the string, and click click click click click click click, and WALLAH lights! A couple of them even took turns testing the tool on my lights. When everybody left it appeared my LIGHT KEEPER PRO, had flown away like a horse with wings! My friends' friend are banned from ever coming on our property, and I found the best price for a replacement at PEGASUSLIGHTING.COM. Thank you Pegasus Lighting. This year after Thanksgiving dinner, I will again sit in Grandma's crushed velvet swivel rocker and click through strings of light. And I must say in the last 10 or so years the arthritis has gotten so painful I doubt I could ever do this the old fashioned way of pulling each and every light, until I come to the last one that mattered to make the string light.
Pros:OMG click your way to the light
Easy to use
includes a fuse tester
even has a tester that helps you find loose or missing bulbs
Cons:yet another item for yearly storage
they grow wings and fly away
they don't help untangle strings
correct voltage replacement bulbs are hard to find and much cheaper when bought in an entire set
