This cold cathode fluorescent G16.5 globe candelabra lock out base light bulb offers several advantages over compact fluorescent light bulbs. It operates at a much lower temperature, lasts 2-3 times as long, and has both dimming and flashing capabilities.
Base Type: candelabra lock out base. The light bulb includes a plastic insert for a fixture socket. This plastic insert, if installed, will only allow compatible lock-out base light bulbs to be screwed into the socket, thus preventing the installation of less efficient lamps such as incandescent light bulbs.
