Does the light bulb slide down into the tube or does the colored tube cover wrap around the bulb?

Answer:They will slide over the end of the CORRECT size tube listed. I did not use them for that size, but for a larger tube. It necessitated purchasing 3 covers per tube to get the effect I desired. I slit, with a razor, all 3 lengthwise and strategically wrapped, covering the three gaps due to the size being too small. They look fabulous. Hope that helps.

Answer:The colored tube is entire, a real tube, so you have to slide the bulb inside. Personally I did wrong the size of the tube whose diameter was a little smaller than the bulb so I cut with a blade the tube along his length and I wrapped it around the bulb positioning the cut toward the ceiling and so the cut is not visible. The material is good and the effect is what I wanted :)

Answer:It is a solid tube so the light bulb slides into the tube. It's a great product!

Answer:The light bulb slides into the tube itself. Then you cut to fit.

Answer:It's a tube that covers the bulb. I found that mine do not slide on because the bulb is too big so I have to slice them. But they work great for where I have them.
