This high quality electronic fluorescent ballast is lightweight and compact and will not audibly hum. It is an energy-efficient, instant start ballast, making it ideal for applications where fluorescent light bulbs are not turned on/off frequently. The Fulham Workhorse-5 is compatible with several combinations of CFLs and T8 and T12 linear fluorescent light bulbs.
