This Workhorse ballast has a very compact case size and will control a variety of fluorescent lamps, including CFLs and T5 and T8 linear fluorescent light bulbs. This is an instant start ballast, meaning it is best for applications where the lights are not frequently turned on and off. It also carries a 5-year warranty and operates without making an audible buzz.
