Great color (2250K), long life

The 8W bulbs are somewhere in between a 25W and 45W incandescent bulb in lumen output, but with an even more pleasant color (2250K). I like the bulbs and will be purchasing more for specific locations due to their long life. However, I did find that full light output is very temperature dependent and thus takes 3-4 minutes to reach full brightness.

Pros:

The bulbs never get very hot, so they are easy to handle even when lit. Long life, 15k hours...2250K rosy warm white is a very pleasant color. The bulbs are about 5 times more efficient than an incandescent.
