This six-inch recessed housing is air tight, UL approved for wet locations, dimmable, and IC rated, which means it can be installed alongside or underneath ceiling insulation.

RECESSED HOUSINGS

• Dimensions: 7.5in high x 7in wide x 10-1/8in long
• Ceiling Cutout: 6-3/8in
• Adjustable Bar Hangers: two bar hangers are adjustable up to 24.5in for easy, nail-free installation; bar hangers are also T-bar compatible
• IC-Rated: rated for direct contact with ceiling insulation; may be covered with insulation to save additional energy
• Air Tight Construction: complies with the strict Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) that restricts airflow through recessed lighting housings
• Spec Sheet: for complete specifications of the housing, view the Spec Sheet (PDF).

LIGHT BULB

• Light Bulb: uses a 50- or 75-watt PAR30 halogen lamp (ordered separately on the Accessories tab).

ELECTRICAL FEATURES

• Integral Thermal Protector: integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping and installation
• Junction Box: J-box is UL listed for through branch circuit wiring
• Quick Connectors: J-box is equipped with 3 "quick connectors" for quick, easy push-in electrical connections. If the installer prefers to use wire nuts, the "quick connectors" may be easily removed.
• Several Knockouts: junction box has five 1/2-inch knockouts, two 3/4-inch knockouts, and four more knockouts with true pry-out slots
• UL Listed for Wet Location: when used with compatible wet location trim
• Fully Dimmable: with line voltage dimmers
