Questions & Answers
By Ted from Fort Lupton, colorado on July 27, 2012
Will they fit in a 2x8 joist (vaulted ceiling)?
By lla at Pegasus Lighting on July 30, 2012

Yes. The can is adjustable for 2 x 8 construction. In addition, the height of the can including the bar hangers is 7 inches and this housing can be used anywhere from a 2/12 to 6/12 pitched ceiling.

Can I use a 14w LED PAR 30 bulb in this? Is it dimmable?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on March 26, 2014

Yes you can use an LED light bulb. If the light bulb is dimmable, then you can certainly dim it.
By Mario from New Jersey on March 26, 2014

I purchased dimmable LED PAR 30 from Costco. They work well and the housing stays cool.

By Mia from Oregon on March 29, 2015
Can I use a PAR38 LED in this, the wattage is only 20 watts?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on March 29, 2015

No, this housing accepts A19 or PAR30 light bulbs. PAR38 would be too wide.
