This LED retrofit module for recessed lighting may be installed anywhere: in the place of existing recessed lights, in new construction, and even in damp or wet locations. Its durable design withstands moisture accumulation, and its CREE LEDs deliver high color rendering, dimmable light. Install this LED recessed light to achieve energy savings without sacrificing light quality.

• Trim Finishes: this LED retrofit module comes with a white reflector & flange. (Flange: a rim, collar, or ring around the outside of the reflector. Recessed Trim = reflector + flange.) Three optional reflector accessories include a diffuse anodized aluminum reflector (CT6A), a black diffuse reflector (CT6AB), and a wheat diffuse reflector (CT6AW). • Heat Sink: dissipates heat from LEDs, keeping their temperature low and increasing their rated life

• CREE LEDs: the module uses LEDs from Cree with an integrated driver
• Light Output: 575 or 800 lumens
• Wattage: only 9.5 watts for 575-lumen models; only 12 watts for 800-lumen models
• Maximum Input Wattage: 10.5 watts for 575-lumen models; 12.5 watts for 800-lumen models
• Efficacy: 60.5 lumens/watt for 575-lumen models; more than 66 lumens/watt for 800-lumen models
• Warm White Light: color temperature of 2700K (warm white, similar to incandescent)

INSTALLATION

• Retrofit or New Construction: this recessed light module can be used in previously installed downlights or with new construction recessed lights
• Easy to Install: just remove existing lamp and trim, attach the module's base adapter to existing socket, and secure LED downlight module in housing with built-in clips. Please refer to these Installation Instructions (PDF). Always check local electrical codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC) before installing any lighting products. It is also wise to consult with a licensed electrician in your geographical area about any electrical details that you might have questions about and to make certain that you are satisfying all of the appropriate electrical codes.
