I am looking for aim-able recessed lights to point at my garage doors. Can these be used outdoors and exposed to moisture?
By Jacob from Pegasus Lighting on May 26, 2015
Answer:These can be used in damp locations but not wet locations. If the lights will be exposed to direct water spray, e.g. rain, then no they should not be used in your application.

Answer:If you're able to install these under cover (as in an alcove above the doors), then these are certainly suitable for the use you intend. But they are not intended to be exposed to rain, snow, or to water from a hose, for example. They're well-constructed. We are using them in a display cove inside an unheated tea house in a Japanese garden.
